Course content
1.Introduction,concept,information sources for landscape ecological records in regional planning. 2. Ecosystem assessment at the frame of model of area, literature excerpction, information systems. 3.Abiotic components in landscape,space-function units, mapping. Biotic components in landscape,space- function units, mapping. 4.Functional - ecological valorisation of landscape(urban)structure. Ecological stability assessment. 5.Space socioekonomic functional components in the landscape-spatial units 6.Landscape perception, stress factors assessment, landcape ekological capacity, ecological loads and conflicts.

Learning outcomes
Study laying yourself a goal to provide for students theoretical set-up related to goals in geography, landscape ecology, and management in public administration .Students will obtain applied know-how with date elaboration,landscape ecological issuis solving ,especialy in regional planning, regional documentation, building up digital,analogy databasis.Absolvents will be able to elaborate materials in analytical, synthetical aspect, take part on information system creating ,to solve more complicated problematic,comunicate in project solution.
Student will accuire experiences with application of landscape ecological methods at the sector of public management, experiences with spatial planning, student will be able to assess some attributes of the environment according to given method, and propose solution of problem according to demand of public management / administrative.
The course is based on understanding of the physical and cultural environment and on the approaches of landscape ecology. It continues on knowledge gained at the frame of the courses Introducing physical geography, Introducing human geography and Landscape ecology and environment. The obligatory prerequisite are exams from these three courses, also deeper understanding of landscape ecological principles and themes is required.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student's performance analysis

Students on the basis of lectures and practical guidance will solve and regularly consult a partial solution to the problems in those hours and hours of consultation identified. The focus is on a separate solution of the project in time and space outside of school. At the end is the presentation , defension of the project.
